The Ghost Runner led the final remnants of humanity from the ruins of Neo-Kowloon to a silent, subterranean sanctuary. When the world outside turned to ash and the bunker’s light began to fade, they chose to end their watch on their own terms. With a final, blinding flash of defiance, the Runner and their kin were returned to the earth, leaving no ghost for the machines to hunt.
