Dex fled the rot of the Drowned Quarter only to find himself a ghost in the machinery of the Neon Bazaar. Haunted by a signal he could not decipher and a life he could no longer sustain, he simply ceased to be. He died as he lived in the end: a static point in a city that never stops moving, leaving his secrets locked in cold steel and his future unclaimed.
